Welcome to 3^rd International Conference on Practice and Innovation in Midwifery (ICPIM) hosted by Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (UNIMUS). Lecturers, professionals, researches, and students are invited in ICPIM which is held regularly every year on fields of premarital and preconception, antenatal, childbirth, postpartum, newborn, infant and under 5 years children, contraception, and perimenopause, health policy, health promotion.

About Event

The 3^rd International Conference on Practice and Innovation in Midwifery is an annual international conference held by Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Conference will be held on September 16^th in Semarang, Central Java Indonesia by online.

Lecturers, professionals, researches, and students are invited in the 3^rd International Conference on Practice and Innovation in Midwifery for discussion. Multi field studies including premarital and preconception, antenatal, childbirth, postpartum, newborn baby, infant and under 5 years children, contraception, and perimenopause, health policy, and health promotion are welcome. The submitted papers must meet the criteria including originality, novelty, not yet published, and must be written in English language. Conference will be held through online.

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Ade Jubaedah, S.SiT., Bdn, MM., MKM

Ruth Ann Colby Martin is an American midwifery educator and practitioner with extensive experience in maternal and newborn health. She serves as Core Faculty at Midwives College of Utah and holds credentials as a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), Licensed Midwife (LM), and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Her work focuses on midwifery education, physiological childbirth, and community-based maternal care.

At this seminar, she will present “Strengthening Midwifery Competencies in Maternal and Newborn Emergency Care” highlighting the importance of competency-based education and evidence-based practices in improving emergency care for mothers and newborns. Her expertise contributes to the advancement of quality midwifery services and better health outcomes for women and families.

Virtual Presentation

Conference will be held online via Zoom event platform. To prepare for a virtual conference, we ask you to prepare your PowerPoint. Each paper will be given 10 minutes (for presentation and Q&A). At least one author must join the live virtual session to answer questions.
